Beautiful
The parking garage at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville, CA, sits prominently among the more than 190 stores and over 20 restaurants housed in the high-end shopping and entertainment complex, and can also be seen from the city's new conference center. The garage needed to exude more visually than a standard parking structure, and naturally, metal woven fabric from Cambridge Architectural was the material perfectly suited to accomplish this goal. The stainless steel mesh system dresses up the parking garage, giving it a clean and sophisticated style which mirrors that of the complex.
The Cambridge Parkade™ system brings a new point of architectural interest to the structure by adding texture and luminosity to its facade.
Functional
The Parkade architectural mesh system specified for the Westfield parking garage provides a striking facade without obstructing views or impeding airflow throughout the structure. The chosen mesh pattern covers but does not completely close off open areas of the building. The result is a dynamic exterior cladding that maximizes views for security purposes and assures proper airflow for the circulation of fresh air to counteract vehicle exhaust.
Affordable
Because Parkade applications are attached in tension, they eliminate the need for additional building materials without sacrificing aesthetics or performance. In the Westfield parking garage, the virtual indestructibility and lifecycle of the mesh facade reduces maintenance costs, and eliminates the need for replacement materials. Additionally, Cambridge's metal fabric panels were specifically engineered to fit the structure’s open areas, ensuring a successful and issue-free installation.
Sustainable
Cambridge's Parkade stainless steel mesh system holds up very well in the natural environment, and will maintain its pristine look for many years to come. Mesh also contributes to LEED® points for incorporating recycled content – Cambridge's metal fabric is 100% recyclable. Cambridge Architectural is an active member of the USGBC®.
